STORY

Reinventing a home-spun demo almost 20 years old can easily seem to be rooted in nostalgia and even a lack of imagination. To me it felt like a rare opportunity when I decided to dive head first into reigniting Sleepy Atlantis three years ago.

The idea of recreating songs to reflect the person I’ve become, taking directly from work that represented the person I once had been, was exciting and has in turn renewed my love for writing and arranging music.

In the last ten years I’ve had the chance to support some of my favorite Dallas/Fort Worth, TX bands as a multi-tasking instrumentalist - providing work locally, on tours, and in the studio. I’ve picked up instruments I never thought I’d be asked to play, been in the “hot seat” with producers I never imagined I’d work with, and I’ve met some incredible people along the way.

Right now I’m releasing singles, writing songs and arrangements, and continuing to learn from and collaborate with musicians and artists I find exciting.

That’s how it is, and how it’s been. Looking forward to what’s to come.
